PokerBowl™
Tournament Format
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Team Tournaments consist of five
6-player teams. The main objective
is to be the last team standing.
This is defined as the last team to
have players remaining in the
tournament
because all the other teams' players
have been eliminated. |
|
 |
There are three
original tables consisting of 10 players each. Teams
will send a tag-team (2 teammates) to each original
table. Although seating is randomly drawn, its done
so in way that guarantees teammates will begin at
opposite ends of the table. When the tournament
begins, all 3 tables will play independently
until only 3 players remain at each table.
(shootout style). Blinds will continue to increase
at each table until this is attained.

The final 9
players will combine to form the final table of the
tournament. Players will bring the same amount of
chips to the final table. They will redraw for
seats and the clock will be reset to the beginning
of Level 7.

The winning team
of the tournament is simply the last team to still
have players left. (all other teams have 0 players
remaining). Its no different in this regard than a
normal tournament, except that if only teammates
remain in the tournament, there is no need to
continue play, as their team has clinched the win.
